Senior Sales Manager (f/d/m)

CEEZER is a marketplace for CO2 compensation and high-tech removal credits with access to >6.000 climate projects worldwide, verified by globally recognized registries. Transactions take place between corporations and project developers at the source, without any middlemen or hidden fees. CEEZER achieves this by providing scientific quality and pricing insights that help buyers and sellers interact, while allowing to monitor credits in a balanced, high-quality portfolio.
We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Sales Manager (f/d/m). You’ll work closely with our experienced founding team and VP Growth in a very fast-moving and VC-funded startup.
YOUR TASKS
  • Act as the main point of contact for CEEZER customers, representing customers' needs to the greater CEEZER team
  • Take ownership of sales outcomes including results, turnover/attrition, and pipeline/forecasting integrity
  • A roll-up-your-sleeves approach including playing a hands-on role in selling, negotiating, and closing deals
  • Push leads through all stages incl. signature and upselling potential customers
  • Apply a deep understanding of prospects, customers, partners, and our overall market to define, develop, and deliver a sales strategy in line with the company’s goals
  • Work closely with our VP Growth and CEO
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales (majority of which SaaS)
  • Demonstrated success meeting/exceeding sales quotas and targets
  • Experience with both transactional sales and complex sales involving long sales cycles with multiple decision makers
  • Ability to execute in a fast-moving start-up environment
  • Experience with all stages of the sales cycle, from demand generation to closing
  • Analytical skills and data-orientation in decision making in a fast-paced environment
  • Experienced in using CRM systems, Hubspot a plus
  • Stay apprised of new information relating to industry trends and customer pain points
  • Continuously learning about new industries, technologies, and strategies
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English and German
  • Eager to contribute to CEEZER’s carbon removal mission
